Yesterday morning we had our first Bible Bee practice meet.
It seemed like it went really well. Only four of the seniors (my age group) came, but there were six primaries, and I think ten juniors. It was about half of the families in our local group.
Alyssa, Isaiah and I all won first place in our age groups. :D
Hopefully we'll continue to do well... :)

Learning
Alyssa and I went to an awesome self-defence course this morning. I feel much more confident in my ability to defend myself now. Alyssa really liked one of the moves. It's just like a dance step she does. :)
Still working on learning bible verses. Slow and steady wins the race! (i hope :) )
I better go pack for our camping trip. It's just over the weekend, but in this family, it doesn't make a difference in the packing list. ;)

Bible Bee
Had a great time last night, we had our first Bible Bee meet. About half of the people in our group came. We all hung out for a while and got to know each other. Some of my age group started playing a game. Something about "kung fu" I think. I had never heard of it so just watched for a while. After I joined in I actually won once. :)
Working on learning some of the bible verses. I've almost gotten Genesis 6:5 down.
"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
With things being that bad, it's no wonder God destroyed the earth!
Well, back to work.
